Nylsvley Nature Reserve
The Nylsvley Nature Reserve is established on the Nyl floodplain which is one of South Africa’s largest, and least impacted floodplain systems. Approximately 12 streams and rivers carry water from the Waterberg Mountains onto the floodplain.
The area can easily be described as a bird watchers mecca, this includes rare sightings such as lizard buzzard and brown snake eagle. The floodplain boosts a also variety of small mammals, reptiles and fish species to be viewed or captured on film.
Zwahili Game lodge is ideally situated near the Nylsvley Nature Reserve for easy access and short day trips.
