Zwahili Private Game Lodge, situated approximately 2 hours North of Johannesburg at the foot of the Waterberg in the Bushveld Region of the Limpopo Province has been awarded the world renowned ISO 9001:2000 certification.

The ISO 9001:2000 Certification by DEKRA-ITS Certification Services (Pty) Ltd recognise outstanding quality management systems.
ISO is a network of the National Standards Institutes of 148 countries, on the basis of one member per country, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system.

ISO is a non-governmental organization: its members are not, as is the case in the United Nations system, delegations of national governments. Nevertheless, ISO occupies a special position between the public and private sectors. This is because, on the one hand, many of its member institutes are part of the governmental structure of their countries, or are mandated by their government. On the other hand, other members have their roots uniquely in the private sector, having been set up by national partnerships of industry associations.

Therefore, ISO is able to act as a bridging organization in which a consensus can be reached on solutions that meet both the requirements of business and the broader needs of society, such as the needs of stakeholder groups like consumers and users.

This most recent audit focused on Zwahili’s quality management system including control of documents & records, management responsibilities, policies and objectives, resource management, training, infrastructure, work environment, product realisation including habitat management, customer satisfaction, corrective and preventative action.

Zwahili Private Game Lodge is a privately owned game lodge in the Limpopo Province. The theme of the accommodation is that of colonial comfort, style and elegance. At Zwahili guests will have the option to make use of luxury rooms in the main lodge or Victorian style under thatch tented camps.

Game viewing is conducted by an experienced ranger and offers encounters with giraffe, civet cat, zebra, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, impala, kudu, eland, aardvark, blesbuck, jackal, bush pig, warthog and numerous smaller antelope. There is over 300 different bird species complemented by the historically rich area e.g. "Witkop” an archaeological site.

Zwahili offers cuisine with African flavours, which is influenced by Western culinary traditions. Dining can be enjoyed in the boma, restaurant or in the privacy of the guests’ luxury suite.
