Bushveld Lodge

A Luxury Bushveld Lodge In Limpopo

A truly memorable luxury Bushveld lodge accommodation experience is no more than two hours' drive from Johannesburg in a malaria-free area, right at the foot of the beautiful Waterberg.  This is a wildlife paradise where you can see waterbuck, gemsbuck, eland, blesbuck and kudu in their natural habitat, as well as many of the other smaller types of antelope.  Additionally, you will more than likely spot at least a few of the following: ostrich, bush pig, cheetah, giraffe and caracal.

Rich Birdlife

This is an ideal place for a Bushveld lodge, since all the great African animals roam the landscape freely and the area is also home to more than 300 species of bird, including the rare brown snake eagle and the lizard buzzard.  You would have the opportunity to look out for all of these on one of the highly informative game drives.

Adding to the delight of aspiring bird watchers, our Bushveld lodge is also close to the famous Nylsvley bird sanctuary for a truly unforgettable birder's experience.  bushveld lodgeIf you feel like it, you may opt for an added dash of adventure by going on a guided bush walk ascending “Witkop”, and following in the footsteps of the “bittereinders” that used this hillock as a hideout from the British.
