Not All Safari Lodges are the Same

Do not be lulled into believing that all safari lodges are equal, because we will give you plenty of reasons why ours stands out from the also-ran crowd of same-again lodges.  Firstly, our location could not be more ideal, being as it is less than two hours' drive from Johannesburg and O.R. Tambo International Airport.  Guests can even take charter flights to the Modimolle airfield, which is only 36 km from our lodge for minimum fuss and bother and maximum convenience.  Importantly, this is a malaria-free area, unlike some of the safari lodges further north.



An Authentic African Experience

Of course, with safari lodge accommodation in the Bushveld comes the captivating wildlife unique to this part of the country, so you will be pleased to learn that two game drives per day are included in your room rate.  Some of the wildlife that can be spotted at our lodge includes:

Luxury Tented Safari Lodge Accommodation

We do offer more conventional luxury suite accommodation at our lodge, but the true safari adventurer may be more interested in our delightful luxury tents.  These grand, Colonial style tents under thatch are arranged in six tented camps and each is totally private and luxuriously trimmed to full five-star standards, just like our luxury suites.  All six camps are within walking distance of the main lodge and the pathways are lantern-lit at night.  The six camps are:

You cannot get anything closer to true safari lodge accommodation than our five-star en-suite tents under thatch and you will be just as comfortable in these tents as in our luxury suites – and with total privacy.  Each tent has a mistrial Victorian style en-suite bathroom with a ball & claw bathtub, His & Hers basins and a private outside shower for two.  Witness the Bushveld wildlife up close and personal from your private deck with panoramic views all around and enjoy all the standard amenities: tea and coffee facilities, a fan, a hairdryer, a heater, a stocked mini bar, an in-room safe, the choice of a king-size bed or twin beds and the option of in-room dining.
