Our choice accommodation is certainly off to a good start, simply by dint of its supremely plush, Colonial-style décor and the earthy, African ambience of our 5-star suites, so you will be amply reminded of where you are, even if you are lounging in your unit. Our Limpopo Game Lodge Paradise is not Far Away
If the picture we had painted of our Limpopo game lodge piques your interest, you will be doubly impressed that our Bushveld lodge is closer than you think, less than 90 minutes' drive from Pretoria, north along the N1 near Modimolle. It is easy to reach us by car, but you can also fly in to the Modimolle airfield, which is only 36 km from our lodge; alternatively, we have our own helicopter landing pad on the lodge premises. Another boon of our location is that we are in a malaria-free area, so not only are we close enough to Gauteng for a quick weekend breakaway, but you need make no special arrangements and preparations either, unlike the typical Limpopo game lodge further north.
Suite and Tented Accommodation
Another thing that sets our Bushveld lodge apart is the choice of accommodation options you have: you can stay either in a luxury suite at our main lodge complex or you can opt for the delightfully refreshing option of our luxury tented accommodation. There are six tented camps (Kifu, Matumba, Rafiki, Madiba, Safiri and Utambo) and they are all within walking distance of the main lodge via pathways that are lantern-lit at night. Both the suites and tents offer these amenities:
- en-suite bathrooms
- a hairdryer
- a fan and heater
- an in-room safe for your valuables
- an in-room, fully-stocked mini bar
- the option to dine in your unit
- the option to receive an African Spa treatment in your unit
- a private deck from whence you can watch the wildlife and plentiful birdlife
- a choice of two single beds or one double bed
- tea- and coffee-making facilities
Additional Tent Features
If you do not stay in one of our Bushveld lodge's suites and you opt for a luxury tent instead, you can look forward to the following:
- solid, log tents under thatch, right on nature's doorstep
- mistrial en-suite bathrooms under thatch, with His & Hers wash basins
- total privacy, out of sight from any of the other tents or the main lodge
- an private outside shower for two
- unhindered bush views all around
